Below is a link to the Emmetsburg St. Pat's Celebration website. I've lived here 8 years now and I have to tell you, it's a party not to be missed!!! Our timy little town gets over run with merry makers and a drunk time is had by most!!! We live walking distance from the bars, so we generally have a large group of friends that stay with us for the weekend. I'm probably the only sober person running around uptown, but so far I've kept our guests out of jail!!! The police agencies are pretty laid back during the celebration weekend, as long as you don't make a total ass out of yourself, you can generally stay out of trouble. There is a drunk bus that takes you to the bars, it runs til the bars close, it free and fun!!
